Crazy Cabbage (GF, DF, NSF) |
Here's what you'll need:
chopped green cabbage
chopped onion
turkey bacon
zucchini
rice pasta
1/4 tsp salt
pepper to taste
chicken broth to steam it all
Cook the pasta ahead, but don't overcook. It shouldn't even be quite al dente as it will get too soft. If the turkey bacon is already precooked, you don't have to cook that, otherwise fry it up before you cut it up.
Chop the cabbage and blanch it in boiling water. In a large pan or wok, sauté the onions in a little olive oil until transparent.
Add cabbage and bacon and continue to sauté.
Add pre-cooked pasta and then some chicken broth. Stir well to mix and steam it all, mixing the chicken flavour with everything else.
